Security analysts have found another virus infecting multimedia files (including .MP3’s). The infected files, once shared, convince unsuspecting users to download a bogus codec in order to make them play. However, that “codec” is actually malware intended to infect your PC.
Moral of the story? Avoid using your work computer on peer-to-peer sites for downloading music.
